As we at FOMAG have been working hard organising fundraising events for over a year now we thought it was time we introduced ourselves. FOMAG are the Friends Of The Marlowe Action Group, a group dedicated to driving forward fundraising activity for the new Marlowe in connection with the Friends of the Marlowe. Headed by David Flood, the group is comprised of some familiar faces from the Friends of the Marlowe committee and a few new faces as well. Together we have been working to arrange exciting events to fundraise for the new Marlowe and our members have already organised events such as a Golf Day and the highly successful Dave Lee Comedy Dinners.
Upcoming events from FOMAG include ‘Miles For Marlowe’ – a sixty mile bike ride from Deptford (the burial place of Christopher Marlowe) to Canterbury and ‘An Evening of Magic with Etienne Pradier at the Whitstable Playhouse. We also have a number of other fantastic events in the pipeline so make sure you keep up to date with these via this website. We look forward to seeing you at a FOMAG event soon!
